The Hall offers three main areas for those hiring the hall. These include:
Main Room: 12.13 x 6.13 metres. Although this is smaller than many community halls in the area we see this as an advantage, comfortably accommodating smaller children’s parties, as well as larger meetings, exhibitions or activity/interest groups.
Tables and chairs can be readily configured in meeting, cafe or banqueting styles.
Kitchen: 5.2 x 4.12 metres. The kitchen has been recently refurbished and is satisfactory for serving simple meals with a hot water boiler for beverages, microwave and domestic gas cooker and hob. Crockery & cutlery are available by arrangement.
Toilets: Separate Ladies, Gents toilets and a Disabled/Accessible toilet (with baby-changing table.
Accessibility for people with disabilities: The whole building is now accessible
Car Parking: The adjacent Church car park is available for use by hall users when not required for Church Services. There is space for 20 cars with additional on-street parking near-by. (Users are asked to park sensibly to avoid inconveniencing residents or creating a traffic hazard.)
Maximum capacity: 78 people
Meeting/Theatre/Exhibition Style: up to 75 people
Cafe Style: Up to 50 people can be comfortably seated around the room leaving space for circulation..
Banquet Style: Up to 65 people can be seated at tables with less room for circulation during the meal.. However folding tables etc. facilitate clearing space for other activities after the meal.
Smaller Family Parties: 15-30 people would not be ‘lost’ in this smaller than average hall. Typically, users have set out one part of the room as a seated eating area with the other part arranged for other activities.
External Space: Provides room to spread in a delightful rural setting adjacent to the Church and the parkland of the former Wanlip Hall.
There is space for marquees and gazebos on the grassed area adjacent to the Hall, (These have been used to advantage for wedding receptions, barbeques, outdoor sales or games.)
